Paul Oakley is now firmly established as one of the UK's leading worship leaders and songwriters, with songs such as Because Of You, Jesus, Lover Of My Soul, Friend Of Sinners and Who Is There Like You? being widely used in worship in many nations.

The title track of his new album Be Lifted Up is also being picked up and heard throughout Britain, but this is only one of the excellent new songs to be showcased on Paul’s latest studio recording. Shepherd Of My Heart will prove to be a favorite as well as Standing On Holy Ground, world rhythms are introduced for How Sweet My Savior's Name before leading onto the anthemic Shine.

For his third studio project, it was decided to take Paul and his musicians to South Africa and work with record producer Andrew Philip (TREE63, Matt Redman, Soul Survivor) and engineer Nick Fairclough at the Northwind studio in Durban.
